Patricia
Patricia, who is American born, has spent a good part of her life living in the US, Europe and the Far East. She turned business English coach after years of leading successful careers in human resources, security and law. In addition to her law degree, Patricia holds a BA degree in psychology and a certification for teaching English for business purposes. Patricia’s vast experience conducting business all over the world provides her with an added value and a world of knowledge when teaching about intercultural awareness and global business issues as well as when working with senior executives from a myriad of industries. Her remarkable life story, along with her extensive business experience and charming personality, have proven to be valuable with her many corporate clients and professionals. Her trainees are embraced by her unique teaching style and are driven to advance their goals with confidence.
Heidi
Heidi, American born, earned her BA in journalism from the University of Minnesota. Since most of her US business experience comes from the retail field, she has a wealth of knowledge related to customer service and negotiation skills as well as to relaying messages with a positive perspective. Heidi employs these skills when teaching her students about international communication with their overseas colleagues. Heidi’s business teaching experience covers individual and group courses for beginners, mid-level learners, and advance English speakers who are looking for that extra push to get to the next level. Heidi knows how to modify the level, pace, and content of each student’s program so they can accomplish their specific business English course goals. Heidi’s warm and open personality encourages her students to quickly fall in love with the English language and enjoy their learning experience.
Sharon
Sharon, a native of the United States, completed her BA in social work in Tel Aviv University. She began teaching English in 2012 and successfully completed the CELTA program through the University of Cambridge. Sharon also completed a teaching certificate program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to integrate into the education system, and recently completed a professional course in neurolanguage coaching. Highly experienced in teaching in both formal and informal settings, she has worked with diverse students ranging from police officers at the police academy to families traveling abroad. Sharon’s exposure to diverse business cultures brings a rich teaching experience and a wealth of knowledge to her business English students. Her niche when teaching English with both individuals and groups includes spoken business communication skills and small talk, email writing, presentation skills and English-led meeting skills.
Karen
Karen was born and raised in Los Angeles and was lucky enough to travel the world extensively during childhood, which continues to influence her love of learning about new cultures. She received her BA in psychology from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) and her MA in psychology from Boston College. Karen began her career as a clinical psychotherapist, working with individual clients, conducting group work, and facilitating workshops. She was trained in classical Freudian psychotherapy and gained an additional certification in narrative therapy. Branching out, she began writing articles about emotional well-being and spirituality, which she continues to do today, as a featured writer for several international websites. As an English educator, Karen has a demonstrated history of successful results in diverse milieus. Leading groups as well as working individually, she integrates her background in psychology, philosophy, and language instruction for corporate clients and global organizations including Intel, Mobileye, the Mandel Institute, Air Products and PMEC. She is passionate about unifying people from different cultural and religious backgrounds and creating transformative experiences.
Keren
Keren was born and raised in the US She has earned both her BA and MA degrees in occupational therapy from Boston University in Massachusetts. Keren has facilitated learning and skill enhancement in both individual and group settings and is able to incorporate those skills into the domain of language instruction. In addition, Keren has been teaching business English to groups and individuals, as well as teaching graduate students in the academic arena. As a language coach, Keren is articulate and charismatic and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in bridging intercultural gaps in the business context. With her positive attitude, comprehensive knowledge and the capability to connect to each client on both professional and personal levels, Keren is a true asset to TriEnglish.
Elen
Elen comes from a family of linguists in the US, where she completed her BA and MA in History at Harvard and MA and MPhil in philosophy at Yale parallel to training as a language facilitator, translator, and editor. A researcher activist with a deep love for the study of languages and cultures, she has traveled extensively both before making Aliyah and since, and worked for extended periods of time in countries of the former Soviet Union, including the Slavic lands, the Baltics, and the Caucasus in addition to the US, Israel, and Europe. Joining forces with university and corporate undertakings worldwide, she has designed, tested, and implemented a series of business English programs for group and individual learners from a variety of backgrounds, always focusing on advancing intercultural connections and effective business communication through individuated approach and bilateral exchange. She is always in the midst of a conservation or animal rescue project, and continues to work as a writing consultant, translator and editor side by side with business English training.
Gillian
As a fully native speaker and qualified business English teacher, Gillian has been involved in adult language teaching for most of her professional career. She emigrated from South Africa after having completed a BA degree in English literature and a diploma in English teaching & pedagogics, both from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Gillian spent 17 rewarding years as an English language consultant at the Office of the Prime Minister and is passionate about engaging in English conversation while encouraging fluency, accuracy and confidence. She now focuses on intermediate and advanced business English coaching, in both individual and group setting, while creating a condusive business, high-tech and general conversation environment. As a language coach, she customizes each learning experience and believes that it is essential to adapt to learners’ professional focus and needs while providing them with rich vocabulary and relevant terminology. She also believes that gaining fluency and confidence can be achieved with interesting and relevant content and by encouraging learners to participate, interact and practice with the use of many varied platforms. OR
OR is a bilingual, native-speaking business English coach with a background in performance arts and martial arts. An alumnus of the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles, he spent several years honing his craft and also studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. His exceptional skills as a public performer, along with his mastery of both literary and everyday English, offer students a wealth of opportunities for oral and literary expression. This enriching experience not only builds their confidence when speaking in front of others but also encourages self-discovery that they can utilize in the future. OR believes that learning English can be incredibly enjoyable, vibrant, and fulfilling when both the learner and the language coach are fully committed to the process. Richard
Richard was born in New York and spent the majority of his adult life in California. He holds a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) with a minor in psychology from The George Washington University, which he earned in 1990. For most of his career, Richard owned and operated a specialty food business in California, where he honed his entrepreneurial skills and developed a keen understanding of market dynamics. His diverse professional background includes business consulting, loan investments, and the recent acquisition of an ecological home goods company, reflecting his commitment to sustainable practices and innovation. In addition to his business acumen, Richard is a skilled mediator, adept at facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts, a talent that has enhanced his effectiveness in various professional settings. His curiosity and love for people have driven his success, allowing him to build strong relationships and foster collaboration. Fluent in Spanish and conversational in French, Richard is currently improving his Hebrew, reflecting his dedication to integrating into his new community. His excellent business communication skills, combined with his diverse experiences and multilingual capabilities, position him as a versatile and impactful professional.
Sue
Sue, originally from South Africa, studied theatre at the Durban University of Technology. She worked for 15 years in corporate teambuilding, eventually specializing in event-production management for branding and marketing companies. Throughout her business career, she had the opportunity of working closely with a wide range of clients in the public and private sector, across all industries. Upon her return to Israel in 2015, her love of communicating and teaching led her to resume teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in languages schools, privately to all ages, while she continued her studies through Beit Berl College. Her passion is business English coaching and she has a rich background in teaching adults of all levels. In addition, she also has the ability to understand her learners’ pain points in order to build their knowledge and self-confidence. She brings a very unique and creative flair to her teaching incorporating her business experience, language skills and natural compassion to support her learners through their individual journeys.
Yonatan
Yonatan was born in London, England and earned his BA degree in political studies from Nottingham University. He worked in the field of horticulture at the botanical gardens for many years. As a business English teacher, he has taught beginner, intermediate and high-level learners in different professional backgrounds, including military retirees transitioning into the public workforce, hi-tech employees and business professional in the finance arena. Yonatan’s business knowledge and experience along with his enduring commitment to his students’ progress are the perfect combination for success. His personal motto that is conveyed to his clients is “You can do it”.
Sarah
Sarah was born and grew up in Manchester, England. She holds a BA in social work from Bar-Ilan University, a teaching certificate from the Ministry of Education, and an MA in education from Derby University. In addition, she has undergone various professional seminars in such areas as teaching methods, emotional intelligence and computer applications. As a professional English teacher with over 30 years of experience, she has a rich background in teaching adults of all levels. She teaches parliament members, senior airline managers, hi-tech workers, bank employees and more. The knowledge and experience she has acquired throughout her career, enable her to identify the unique needs of each client and to customize the learning program and teaching style. Sarah is open, sensitive and friendly – three vital characteristics which yield an effective and enjoyable learning experience.
Ilana
Ilana is a bilingual business English coach born in the US and living in Israel since childhood. After gaining her BA degree in psychology at Tel Aviv University, she continued her studies at State Teachers College, from which she obtained a teaching certificate in English as a second language (ESL). Her own intercultural challenges and overseas experiences have led her to specialize in the fascinating realm of intercultural communication, gaining an MA degree in anthropology. She has been a Business English coach for fifteen years, in a variety of settings, including the academic and private sectors (hi-tech and industry) and has been teaching by Zoom for the past year and a half. Before specializing in Business English, she led qualitative research in a business consultancy in Tel Aviv. Ilana is also a certified group facilitator, and has worked with mixed groups of Arabs and Jews. Her endeavor to learn Arabic has contributed to her empathizing with language trainees; she gets great satisfaction from helping them overcome their “language blocks”, in a supportive atmosphere, using humor in accordance with cultural sensitivity.
Candy
Candy, born in South Africa, completed a BA degree in English and psychology and continued to acquiring a higher diploma in education (HdipEd). After teaching English in a high-school environment, she went into recruitment and human resources. She founded and ran a successful recruitment and search company, specialising in the placement of professional staff in the financial services sector. Her passion for people and business culminated in her completing an international accredited coaching course (ICF) where she became an executive business coach to senior executives and post-graduate business students. Her insight and experience enable her to access and activate potential, focusing on the human element of connection. Candy is eternally curious and embraces cultural diversity. She loves the story, helping her learners to weave storytelling into their presentations, meetings and marketing conversations in order to create richer and more meaningful business interactions. She is a born teacher and has a natural and relaxed style which is highly effective and enjoyed by her learners.
Gill
Gill, born in Zimbabwe, earned her BA in psychology from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She received her BEd in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) from Beit Berl College and later successfully completed the EMB (English Means Business) Program in 2016. She has worked as an English second language educator for over twenty years to diverse groups, including children with learning disabilities and young adults preparing for their English matriculation examination. Gill has moved into teaching business English, as she believes it is a necessary skill for business professionals who work in global environments. Using her strong teaching experience, she is ready to prepare her learners for key business meetings, to strengthen their grammar and professional vocabulary, and to increase their self-confidence through simulating relevant business conversations. Gill’s patient demeanor and strong belief in her learners’ abilities makes for a successful learning experience for her business English clients.
Liza
Liza made Aliyah from the UK after a successful career as a recruitment manager in a hi-tech company in London. She holds professional certificates in graphic design, user-experience writing and both the TEFL and CELTA English teaching certificates. She is currently in the process of completing a BA in Graphic Design. In recent years, she has been working in the fields of resource development and marketing writing. She voluntarily established and manages a food pantry project to help single parent families in her community. Her experience as a business English teacher is broad and rich and includes coaching senior executives in France through Zoom, as well as teaching a variety of individual and group courses at leading companies, both via Zoom and face-to-face. Her competitive advantage is her ability to combine her comprehensive knowledge in international business and intercultural communication, along with her vast experience in teaching English. Liza is a professional teacher who believes in the effectiveness of dynamic teaching tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
Luay
Luay is a British born language coach who obtained his professional CELTA English teaching certificate in 2011 and has been actively helping individuals and groups achieve English language proficiency since 2019. He also has a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK and has accumulated over a decade’s worth of engineering experience in various sectors including maritime, water, automotive, construction and environmental management. His charismatic approach combined with his industrial experience can assist business professionals obtain a range of language skills including those needed for complex project management, contract negotiation and senior management presentations. In addition to 1-to-1 and group instruction, he also offers English language proof-reading and editing services for businesses.
